The purchase of Hillston Farms was necessitated through the lack of competition and supply of premium "red soil" potatoes.

To increase the level of service and support provided to our customers, it was critical for GroPack to become involved in the strategic growing of high quality fresh potatoes. Not only was this a critical investment to ensure product availability, but it enabled far greater control over continuity of supply and competitive pricing.

To meet our commitment to our customers, Gropack embarked on a joint venture partnership in Hilston, New South Wales, where a significant parcel of land was purchased to ensure supply of new season premium "red soil" potatoes, grown at the right time and in the right location.
